Joseph T. Metzger is Board Certified as a Civil Trial Lawyer by the Florida Bar. This certification is the highest level of evaluation by the Florida Bar of competency and experience within an area of law, professionalism and ethics in practice. He also practices in the areas of medical liability and nursing home litigation.

          

Kari's primary focus has been in personal injury litigation including automobile liability, PIP litigation, professional liability, products liability, premises liability, general insurance defense litigation, civil trial and appellate litigation.

Kari is a former employee of Nationwide Insurance Company trial division, a former partner in the law firm of Byrd & Metzger, P.A. and a former partner in the law firm of Koleos, Rosenberg, Metzger & Doyle, P.A. Prior to practicing law, Kari was a claims representative for Travelers Insurance Company.

Victoria W. Smith is an experienced attorney, who currently practices in the area of insurance defense litigation throughout the State of Florida, including: automobile negligence, PIP litigation, premises liability and construction litigation.

Prior to joining the Metzger Law Group, P.A., Ms. Smith practiced for over two and a half years as an Assistant Public Defender in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida. Ms. Smith defended thousands of juvenile, misdemeanor and felony criminal cases, including extensive bench trial, jury trial and motion hearing practice.

In 2007, Ms. Smith was a State Judicial Intern for Circuit Judge Denise A. Pomponio of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in Hillsborough County, Florida.

Devin W. Jones is an experienced attorney, who practices in numerous areas of trial oriented civil defense litigation, including: automobile negligence, PIP litigation, premise liability, and construction litigation, throughout the State of Florida.

Prior to joining the Metzger Law Group P.A., Mr. Jones worked for six years as an Assistant State Attorney in the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Florida.  Mr. Jones was lead counsel in over fifty jury trials, and actively prosecuted thousands of criminal cases ranging from misdemeanors to first degree felonies.

In 2004, Mr. Jones was a law clerk for Tarter Krinsky & Drogin, LLP, in New York, where he focused on business, corporate and real estate transactions.
